how come l4d 1 does not have any improved bots addon mods?

As a L4D 2 player, the improved bots has it's pros & cons. It's not perfect Lilliwolf.

Pros:
- Better behavior & fighting abilities from bots.
- Will save players faster.
- The game continues on even if all players are dead.

Cons:
- Only works on Single Player. Or if a 3rd party server has the add on as well. Official Dedicated does not have this feature & game play is as normal.
- Pathing through the map is still not that great. I have seen all 3 bots still die. Even through the safe house was near by.
- Still cannot use explosives.

There could be more that can be added to this list. And the person that made this add - on can still put more into it in a future version. I HAD this add - on. But deleted it since most of my games are online. Public or Friends - Only games.

hey danny went to site and registered ty but the idea is have bots that can lead , pick up health ,molloys,pipe bombs... and pass it to the player this one simply replaces bots when one goes out so that the player is not alone kind of want a bot with more player qualites if u know what I mean like the improved advaced and simple bots addon for left 4 dead 2

I tried making a mod like this, but the gamemodes.txt files cannot be modified in L4D1, unlike in L4D2.
