Boolean logic [minor spoilers]
Hey y'all.

Just a stupid question regarding the boolean gates. I took ^ to mean AND, v to mean OR, and + to mean XOR. I solved all gates without a problem, except the one at the end of the hallway, for which I had to look at a guide: it looks like a full AND gate (no grouping, only ^), yet the answer only requires 4 lights!

Is this made to trick us? Did I misunderstand ^ or the way the gates work?
Thanks!

...went back to the game to have another look, noticed the small "NOT" symbols. Now I feel stupid. :)

i also overlooked the not symbols. they were not introduced and not really obvious.

Same issue here the "NOT" Symbols are really easy to miss.
Spent a long time in that room before I was aware of them.

Yeah, it took me a while to notice the NOT symbols, found them almost by chance.

Yeah the not symbol is kinda not obvious here. Luckily I spotted it almost immediately, since I was short of orbs and knew something was amiss.

Still, the not should be clearer, and rather than using a " ' " they should use the standard " ~ " symbol. Don't you think so?

I solved the puzzle by putting orbs in patterns, I was just going about it blindly.
