****For true Aliens Fans**** Pulse Rifle sound? Changed to garbage!

When my brothers and I bought this game, we were so jacked to hear the Pulse Rifle sound JUST LIKE THE MOVIE! It was like we were there! For those of you who have actually seen the movies, you will know what it sounds like. A very distinct sound. Like nothing else except only on the Aliens movie.

Gearbox, please, I beg of you, return the Pulse rifle back to its original sound. Give those who dont like it an option to just mute their game. Dont take away from those who know what the gun is supposed to sound like from the movies. Please Gearbox, dont suck.

I don't think they removed the sound in the patch. My guess is you bought the fire rate increase upgrade on the pulse rifle. That upgrade will change the sound. Reload your game, remove that weapon mod and see if it sounds right again?

I don't know who thought that was a good idea, but it was like that pre patch as well.

Again, I am not sure who was in charge of that decision to change the sound when you install the mod, but they need to be fired.

I loved this as well. one thing i wish they would do on top of this would be to make the grenade firing sound like it was in the movie sounded like it packed a lot more punch. that and changing at least Vasquez and Gormans pistol fire sounds so they match the sound bytes from the movie would be epic. id be running around with the volume cranked using only Vasquez's pistol, which is what i do with the pulse rifle :D
