the Ai isn't cheating.

your rushing through the Story resulted in diminishing returns.
at best, you might have level 24 gear

this is what Side missions were designed for.
Side missions may be Optional, but the XP you gain isn't.

this is especially true in NVHM, and TVHM. although in TVHM, you've got DLC's for variety.

Five-level difference is about the only thing that makes the early modes a bit fun, for me.

The positive thing about this is you won't be tempted to cheat with save files etc. This is a positive thing you can actually play the game fair now and you will get more hours out of it. There is no fun in downloading free save files with everything already unlocked and there is no point in playing and grinding when you can get it free with 0 effort. "

No one is discouraging op from cheating, just pointing out that its his fault for being underleveled and the ai isn't cheating like he says.

There have are comments saying how to get a god mode toggle.

And now people are calling out the hypocrite that said BL3 being on servers would be great to stop cheaters.

You're under-leveled. Skipping all those side quests was indeed a choice on your part.

You skipped'em, now you're paying the price.

Challenge is what truly makes a game great. Do your side missions, acquire gear along the way and you will make progress; otherwise, play another game where you aren't being challenged. Simple as that, really.

On my first playthroughs (NVHM), I always did every side mission as they became available and followed the story missions once there were no more side missions I could do. Never really had any problems with being under or over leveled.

For the second playthrough (TVHM), I stuck to the story missions and avoided all side missions. That works until you get to the low/mid 40's and then find yourself under leveled for Caustic Caverns? That's when I would check the wiki for missions that only offered Eridium or XP as a reward, or even weapons I knew I wouldn't use/keep.
