Is this a Dotp 2012 bug???
So I was playing against Karn with Kiora Atua's deck and he had played DarkSteel Colossus and that 6/6 lifelink+deathtouch wurm thing (forgot its name because u cant go through Karn's deck in the DotP 2012 deck manager)

Anyway, I played Yavimaya's Embrace on his Wurm, and then attacked next turn with it.

He blocked my wurm with his Darksteel Colossus (11/11), and my wurm had gotten 8/8 instead of 6/6 due to Yavimaya's Embrace, had trample, deathtouch and lifelink.

It raised my life total by +8, but for some weird reason it got past Dark Steel Colossus and dealt Karn 8 damage....WTF???? Is this a bug?

No, that's correct. With trample, you don't pay attention to any abilities the defending creature has, you just need to assign what should be lethal damage. In this case it's 1 damage, since your creature has deathtouch. The rest of the damage tramples through.

702.17b The controller of an attacking creature with trample first assigns damage to the creature(s) blocking it. Once all those blocking creatures are assigned lethal damage, any remaining damage is assigned as its controller chooses among those blocking creatures and the player or planeswalker the creature is attacking. When checking for assigned lethal damage, take into account damage already marked on the creature and damage from other creatures that’s being assigned during the same combat damage step, but not any abilities or effects that might change the amount of damage that’s actually dealt. The attacking creature’s controller need not assign lethal damage to all those blocking creatures but in that case can’t assign any damage to the player or planeswalker it’s attacking.
