[Tech] Dungeons 3 (v1.2.1) - Bugreport thread
While we of course hope that none of you encounters any bugs at all, we are aware that a software product will never be 100% bug free.
Please feel free to post any bugs in this thread and we have a look at them and evilfy every bug possible.

So please feel free to use this thread to report in-game bugs.
(Ensure your game is updated to version v1.2 before reporting and please use the search function to avoid reposting bugs that might have already been posted.)

In case of graphics display issues or crashes, please include a DxDiag summary and describe reproduction steps if possible.
We will look at every reported issue to ensure a quick solution provided, if necessary.

To create the DxDiag.txt, please do the following:
Click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R.
Then type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks) and click Ok.
You will find all relevant information in the following window.
Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window.
Save the file as "dxdiag.txt".
Attach the file "dxdiag.txt" with your reply.

Regarding the Linux crash: it occures when units get out of view and is related to a performance optimization. We added options to disable this optimization in the next patch and we currently test a potentail workaround for the engine bug as the performance impact might be pretty big in the late game. Either way the crash will hopefully no longer happen in the next patch coming in the next few days.

Finde ich toll, dass ihr sogar am Sonntag noch am coden seid um schnell alles zu fixen, das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Auch wenn man in Bayern ja fast nur Feiertage hat und ihr somit sehr oft eigentlich frei haben müsstet. (sorry der musste sein)

Danke, danke für die warmen Worte :). Ist ja zum Glück nicht jedes Wochenende, das wir ein Spiel releasen :-D

Aber ihr seit auch echt Spitze. Ist auch nicht normal, das User trotz Abstürze so hilfsbereit bleiben und weiter versuchen, das Problem zu finden. Thumbs up!

So, aber nun ist Schluß. In 10 Minuten geht die Geburtstagsparty meines Kleinen los. Wir sehen uns morgen! :-P

Hi

ive got a fancy bug here. i start the game and the first loadingscreen with blinking arrows does not want to load. it stucks after 15%. i am the only one with this issue?

Windows 8.0
Intel Core i7-4770K
Geforce GTX 780
16Gb DDR3 RAM

Game is always stuck while loading campaign 'The end of Yaina overproud'.

Game version: 1.2.1

I am using MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

Definitely gonna test the game again once the patch hits. Playing the game when it crashes after squashing a few good-doers in minor fight, makes it more of a chore than enjoyable.
But kudos to you guys for tracking down the issue and trying to solve it when it might only affect a few people. Really appreciated

Maus friert immer wieder ein. Alle 3-20 sekunden für 2-4 sekunden. Spiel selber läuft flüssig.

Im Hauptmenü friert die Maus nicht ein (5 minuten getestet)
Maus funktioniert auch noch als Schatten, Problem tritt erst nach betreten des Dungeon auf

OS: gentoo 64bit
WM: awesome-wm
Driver GPU: nvidia 384.90
Monitor: Ultrawide 21:9 3440x1440
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 8GB

Really looking forward to the sound missing to be fixed for rooms and heroes, it's really taking away from the fun, for me. When fighting I'm expecting more sounds than just the occasional thud or explosion from my units alone. It's been touched on by developers that it's in the works but would be lying if I said I didn't make this post as a little push to really get it done, please!

Great game overall, first I've played in the series!

Könntest Du bitte mal probieren
Graphic.ForceSoftwareCursor = true
in Deine Config unter
~/.config/Kalypso Media/Dungeons 3/config.cfg
einzutragen. Vielleicht hilft das.

English: The game runs normally but the mouse cursor is hanging for 2-4 seconds every 3-20 seconds. [gentoo linux]
workaround (unfortunately not working): add
Graphic.ForceSoftwareCursor = true
to config at
~/.config/Kalypso Media/Dungeons 3/config.cfg

Ja Spiel läuft flüssig, aber mauscursor hängt immer wieder mal.
Die option hilft leider nicht.

I've tried some more today, and I find that whenever I launch the game it's lagging and frame dropping, however if I alt tab out and in again it'll stop dropping. I may in any case get major frame rate drops (10-15 fps) when a lot is happening. I'm happy to send across my specs and any other files to you if needed.
