[SOLVED] G27 is not detected in game suddenly after using HTC Vive
I have played City Car Driving normally using G27 until 1.5.4 update. However, after using the HTC Vive support feature added in this update, G27 is no longer recognized inside the game.

Certainly when I first used Vive, G27 was recognized as normal in game. However, after a few restarts, suddenly G27 was not recognized any more.

I tried reinstalling the G27 driver and Logitech Gaming Software, reinstalling the game, rebooting the computer, but it was not worked.

Logitech Gaming Software recognizes G27 as normal.
And after G27 was not recognized in City Car Driving, G27 was no longer recognized in the Euro Truck Simulator too.

These issue seemed to be resolved after reinstalling Windows, but the same issue was seen as a result of re-using the Vive feature in the window I just reinstalled.

How can I solve this problem?

Environment:
Windows 10 Education x64 (Creater update installed)
Logitech Gaming Software x64 5.10.127
City Car Driving 1.5.4

My wheel and pedal are working but can't get the gears to work on the wheel inputs, it took 6 months for this half baked VR support,

Did you try choose g27 manually in settings menu? The wheel don't set up at all?

I have already tried it but it did not help.

The Logitech Profiler and Windows seem to recognize G27 as normal.
I can not understand why all of the other games, including City Car Driving, suddenly do not recognize G27.
Once this issue starts to happen, it happens permanently regardless of the VR feature.

As I know on Driver version 5.10.127 included in LGS is the latest version of G27 and I already used it.

I was trying to use my wheel on other games.

  • City Car Driving: not working
  • Euro Truck Simulator 2: not working
  • Asseto Corsa: not working
  • Dirt 3 Complete Edition: not working
  • Forza Horizon 3: WORKING!!

I have no idea why Forza Horizon 3 only can detect G27.
I could guess Forza Horizon 3 is the only game i tried without steam but I'm not sure it is related steam platform.

Oh, It working again on All my game!

I just remove steam and install it, then City Car Driving can recognize G27!

I'll try to find the main reason for who suffering this problem.

I see.

In Steam Big Picture, go to Settings > Controller Settings and uncheck Generic Gamepad Configuration Support

I think I was mis-checking it while checking Xbox Configuration Support.
