Happy 4th Anniversary to all members of the PlanCo Fam! Four years ago, our Planet Coaster journey began on PC. So many of you have joined us along the way and came together to create one of the best communities out there.

To all of the new members in the PlanCo Fam: welcome! The PlanCo Fam are an incredible community, who are always happy to share some tips for your parks and creations, love to share their blueprints with others, and come together in heart-warming ways. Now, with the launch of Planet Coaster: Console Edition too, the community has continued to grow, but it's not finished yet!

We couldn't be happier to share that Planet Coaster, as well as additional DLC packs, are available now on Mac thanks to our partners at Aspyr! Today, our Mac community can begin to create phenomenal parks, build jaw-dropping coasters and craft awe-inspiring buildings that will have guests racing from all over to enjoy what has been designed! We can't wait to see what our Mac PlanCo Fam members create and share!

There can be a learning curve to becoming a great park manager, but fret not! The Mac version is the same as the PC version, so you can visit our Career Mode to get set up with everything you need to know about how to look after the people in your parks. Career Mode was designed with you all in mind, and is the perfect starting point for you to understand how best to make your park a success and what is working, or not working, for your guests. Keep them happy by ensuring they have everything they need to have a great time, from rides to facilities. The staff and Entertainers will always be there to help you out, as long as you pay them well and provide them with breaks!

The piece-by-piece construction in Planet Coaster provides you with the opportunity to build whatever you can imagine, and a venture into Sandbox Mode will provide you with unlimited funds to get cracking. You'll be able to create buildings in a variety of styles, theme whole areas using our building sets, and get creative with a huge variety of scenery pieces! You can choose from a variety of pre-made rides and buildings that will kick-start your park, and can help you find some inspiration. You can make your parks suit your tastes, and blow the minds of all who enter it!

If you're looking to test your skills, then dare to enter the Challenge Mode! You'll be faced with objectives and low funds, which will keep you on your toes and have you thinking methodically on how to satisfy your guests. Don't forget: a happy customer is a paying customer! Take care of your guests in Challenge Mode, and they'll be sure to keep your parks up and running.

Our PlanCo Fam are renowned for sharing their creations, and you'll find a wealth of blueprints on the Steam Workshop that you'll adore. The Steam Workshop will be available for anyone who plays on the Mac Steam version. Enhance your parks with astounding blueprints that will keep your guests coming back for more, and share all of your awesome builds with your fellow community members, so they can be inspired by what you have created, and use it in their parks.

We're so grateful to release Planet Coaster on Mac, with Aspyr. We’d like to take a moment to update you all on what’s happening at Frontier with regards to COVID-19, and what you can expect from us in the foreseeable future.

In order to safeguard the health and safety of all Frontier employees, we are implementing a work from home policy across the studio.

Frontier’s games and channels bring joy to the community, and we are all united in our love of these fantastic worlds and the positive impact they produce; this is why we are working hard to avoid any disruption and will do our very best to keep you updated and entertained throughout this challenging time.

Our games will continue to be supported (including online functionality), and at the moment we do not anticipate any major changes to our plans across all titles. However, with the situation changing daily, we will keep you informed and appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to bring the best gaming experiences to our players. Our Communications team will continue to be active across our channels, including forums, Reddit, Discord, and social media; our Customer Support team will continue to offer help and support through our dedicated support channels, and game teams will continue their work on future updates and releases.

As an added precaution, we are restricting work-related travel for the time being, which means we are not attending any events at the current time.

Our hearts and minds are with you and your family; we will continue to monitor the global situation and will adjust our operations as necessary, and keep you posted.

Hello Coaster friends!

Thank you for all of your support last week when we announced that we're bringing Planet Coaster to consoles! It was a big step for us and we loved seeing all the community reactions from both existing and prospective players. We've also enjoyed celebrating our THIRD anniversary with you this past Sunday, during which we quizzed our most knowledgeable PlanCoFam members and gave away a bunch of fun prizes! Again, we absolutely love having you on this rollercoaster ride with us, so thank you for three years of wonderful memories[forums.frontier.co.uk].

Today we are releasing Update 1.13 - a Quality of Life update with fixes that we've been working on during the development of Planet Coaster: Console Edition, as well as some issues that have been raised by the Community.

We'll be doing a livestream today at 12PM UTC with Producer Lloyd Morgan-Moore about Planet Coaster: Console Edition and the QoL update, so do check it out when you can!

All of your feedback since we launched Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters has been super informative! Thank you for filing reports on the Issue Tracker.

We are introducing two new features in our 1.12.4 update for Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters, which have been highly requested and will allow you much more freedom to create your dream shooting ride!

• Added the option to link successful target hits to triggerable items, meaning you can now shoot a target, which will add to their score and can also set off an explosion, or an animatronic, or any sequence of events.
  
• Added the option to switch off scenery hitchecks, meaning you can place targets inside other items such as in the mouths of crocodiles or inside of wrecked vehicles.

Here are the update notes:

New Features

• Added an option to allow linking of shootable targets to triggered items on The Ghostbusters Experience and Quick Draw - This allows you to shoot a target and/or ghost and set off a sequence of effects and animatronics, opening up a whole extra dimension of customization for your shooting rides!
  
• Added an option to disable the scenery hitcheck for shooting on The Ghostbusters Experience and Quick Draw - Now you can place your targets inside tight areas while still allowing them to be hit, or even hide them away to set up secret bonus targets.
  
• Added a toggle to Sandbox mode to allow ghosts to scare guests without causing them to run away or lose happiness

Ghostbusters fixes

• Added advertised destinations on the Ghostbuster DLC signs
  
• Adjusted the sandbox version of "Who Ya Gonna Call?" to remove haunted ride when it starts

Ride fixes

• Fixed an issue where the Infinite coaster would incorrectly stop on the over-vertical drop when using block sections
  
• Increased the maximum train length for the SLV, Vector and Tiamat coasters
  
• Fixed an issue where shoot-able targets would be missing an icon in the ride trigger editor

• Fixed small bushes, shrubs and flowers to be selected with a left click
  
• Updated a streetlamp scenery piece so it rotates around it's center
