Latest Patch: Build 1058
Early Access Build 1058.SW

* New - Gamepad support, Press F1 (or start on gamepad) in play mode to see the layout. Give the combat tutorial a spin to get used to the new controls. Note left trigger is a modifier, hold to switch A/B/X/Y to use skills
* New - Gamepad turn speed added to settings
* Change - Key bindings reset, Block default is now Q / Left Bumper
* Change - Interaction with NPCs and signs now just shows "Press U" (or Gamepad button if connected)
* New - After dying, you will spawn at the closest last known safe place, rather than at the spawn pad / campfire
* Fix - When heading back to Hub World the spawn in was not very clean
* New - Bags, chests and enemy stash show the Gamepad button to press if one is connected

* New - 4 Way Stairs

* New - Bird Table

* New - Quill and Ink
* New - Skull Spike

But Teleport will still take you back to the last campfire used right?

Also what if the nearest "safe" place is inside a hollow building or somewhere we very much did not want them to be able to get to! The more I think about it the more this seems like a really bad idea that could even be exploited on purpose to progress to locked/blocked areas. (or at the very least cause some of the behind the scenes magic to be revealed. )

Some more info on how this feature works please?

Omni - it is the last safe place the player was at, if you haven't been there, you won't spawn there. It is basically like a wind back in time position wise.

Right now T takes you back to the spawn pad as it is really only meant for emergency "I'm stuck" situations. I could make it go back to the previous campfire though if that would be more helpful.

No magic is ruined, it only picks an exact spot you have previously been.

Today's patch was pretty useful. Some cool little doodads I've been hoping for...have enough to put together makeshift barricade walls and such. Thanks guys!

That sounds good. So basically you added something that records our paths?

Having T go back to a campfire... I'm torn. As much as I like torturing players if they screw up one of my fall/jump puzzles or one of the other types it might be nice to throw them a bone and say start them off at the top of the tower/cliff/whatever they had to climb to start it.

But I really like torturing players though..................

But then they might quit before they see the cool stuff................................

But I reaaaally like to imagine their screams.................................................................

Tough choice.
