No Mac?
This is the third time that this has happened when buying a game on Steam..I buy allot of games on Steam I have like 65 steam games or something like that. I bought 1 game a few weeks ago, 1 game a week ago and now Natural Selection 2 today and they've all had the same problems.. (They're not compadable for MAC but they're advertised as such.. I noticed that the other 2 games are now advertised as PC only but NATURAL SELECTION 2 is still advertised for mac and PC. They will probably change it for PC only later just like they did with the other 2 games, but I'm just giving everyone a heads up.. I bought the Natural Selection 2 Deluxe version, so I don't know if the (NON) deluxe version works or not. It might, because if you buy the regular Natural Secection 2 and want to upgrade to the deluve, the deluxe is only avalible for PC. But it still says that the NATURAL SELECTION 2 deluxe combo is PC and MAC..

Mac support is supposedly to be released in less than 1-2 months.

Are you on crack?

I couldn't find any where that said NS2 supports Mac OSX...... It never has supported it ever.

Update, it changed!!! It says that it's Lynx and PC compatable now!!! That still doesn't help me out, though, but atleast those of you with MACs aren't stuck with a game you can't play..

NS2 doesnt claim to support mac dude, however as of the last update IT SUPPORTS LINUX WOOOO

I'm willing to bet you just saw the wrong page and thought it was NS2 and got it mixed up.

Like I said, it might not be supported, but it had the Mac logo next to it showing that it was supported but now it changed.. I even took a screen shot of it when it was with the Mac logo, PC logo and Lynx logo..

Why aren't people playing the free weekend before they make a purchase? I guess they must be the same people that buy Aliens: Colonial Marines and The War Z.

Just keep it, a OS X version is coming, it is just a matter of time.
if you were interested enough to buy a game on a whim you are probably interested enough to wait a couple more months for the OS X version.

BTW: It is Linux not Lynx.

If you are a self-respecting PC gamer, don't use a Mac. If you have a Mac, than get Bootcamp or install Windows 7 onto it.

Hmm, I really hope Steam did not accidentally list us as available on Mac, because we certainly never announced that. At least it seems to be listed correctly now.

However, we are still planning on a Mac compatible version, and getting the game running on Linux was a huge first step towards that goal. That should be coming soon.
