I'm pretty sure there already is fade skipping?
Raynre Valence 9 listopada 2013 o 20:54
The game has Steamworks. Add them yourself.

Tram is in game I believe, Heavy armor is in this game as EXO instead, fades can blink and shadowstep, and no HMG for normal rines, but exos get dual HMGS or single HMG

Theres alot of new stuff, if you loved NS1 you should go ahead and pick this up

Skipping = Is like bhopping for the fade, look it up.

You can still do it of sorts, while in the air you hold jump down and you will jump the second you land. Use blink for some start momentum and include some intermitent blinking to keep it and the end result is very much similar to it. Bear in mind that bhopping was a very prevalent machanic in the hl engine at the time and is different in every engine.

Something like that.

If you're reminiscing about NS1, then play NS1. UWE wanted to change things up, that was their choice. I haven't played NS1 and you have, of course, but don't blame the devs for not making NS2 an NS1 port with better graphics.

Bhopping is the worst exploit ever used. Why would someone want to mimic this in their gameplay...

Asking someone to backtrack and research when you're the one who hasn't done his research is...

As for Heavy Machine Guns...

They do add things that are necessary, I do admit that I should have done more research in this this manner, but these things are kind of the little details or what ever you want to call it that really makes the game, but when you seen them first, its not really something to get over, espescially if they do make gameplay. Even though you could say that about every sequel to every game, its true. Now, I know that the fade skipping is obviously bhopping, people have their opinions on it. I would just like to point out though, UWs has released an update that gives skulks the ability to jump and gain momentum, do you see where i'm going here?

Im not trying to be rude here, but I posted this for facts, not opinions.

Last I checked, there was unused code for an HMG in the game's files, but no plans to officially implement it at the moment. Minigun Exosuits are the current choice for heavy sustained firepower.

There will likely be no Heavy Armor like from NS1 in the game because of how difficult heavy trains were to deal with and they had to implement Devour to make heavy trains manageable, and they don't want to put Devour in this game.

Eclipse has been announced, but nothing else yet for other NS1 maps.

"UWs has released an update that gives skulks the ability to jump and gain momentum, do you see where i'm going here?"

Kinda of, but I wouldn't call it bhopping. When I think of bhopping, I think of exploiting an engine to sllently and quickly move across the map faster than usual. The line between cheating and skill in this area is pretty thick for me. CS bhopper supporters deserve to get banned from the game :p : Intentions are everything. Strafe while landing and jumping and towards the wall did/do seem to effect retaining and gaining speed. I'm not sure on current intended/unintended movement.

In away, you were atleast, correct that bhopping is/was part of the game. There's a vid with wasabi and someone else demostrating the old fade movements. So I guess I need to retract much of what I said :/
