Returning player

Hi,

i haven't played in a while, mostly because... well stuff. And i wanted to return to NS2, but the servers i used to play on have vanished. Now while looking at all the different options for filers and such, i was wondering if there was somewhere some list of Mods which one should have.

I am not talking about skins and the like, i am talking about Gameplay Mods like Maps and the like. Which one are "essential" these days?

NS2+ is pretty much the only one to worry about.
For maps and so on I just let them load when I join a server that has them.

Same its been about 2 or 3 months for me. Got it again yesterday and the game seems kinda dead. Not as many servers and almost all are always empty :o

Filter the empty servers in your browser. It may be depressing to see all the abandoned servers but theres always usually atleast one or two servers that can work for people.
For example, I almost only go on Hyperion servers because they (Besides the occasional UWE server) are the only ones with playable ping.
