You need to own Half-Life however.
If you don't then you should, that in itself is a great game.
Anyway, if you do happen to own it and install it, you may find a lack of players.
To combat this, look for a NS1 bot on Google.
There's plenty good ones out there that don't aimbot you to death.
I'm sure on weekends there is still some players in a few servers, but it's never a whole lot.

NS1 is dead.
Even its famed ablens/WongaNS has died recently. (Most likely because of the community.
What happened to it? Where did the player go to ?
Asfar as players gone too: prolly ns2, or other games.
I have no idea, I don't even remember what my ping was.
