Fire Rate 0.07 seconds
but really though, .07 seconds? is this not too strong, or is it just me?
note: this isn't a rage, it's happening to the entire team, 3 lerks are wiping out groups of 7-8 rines.
1. Marines are bad
2. Marines are armorless and don't weld (see #1)
3. Marine comm is bad and doesn't drop medpacks (see #1)
4. Marines have awful positioning and block each others firing lines (see #1)
From what i've seen the Lerk is really smooth on 60 FPS, so they can pretty much just circle and kill someone with 30-45 fps in a heart beat.
It's the way the game is optimized.
They didn't try to make up the lag compensation for lower systems.
That's why (if you have about 20-35 fps) sometimes you will jump and try biting a marine, but you die and end up appearing a few feet behind where you were. In their screen you were in that exact spot, but because of lag differences, on your screen you were further ahead.
