help, miraak bug

help, miraak wont disappear after he steals my dragon souls for the first time. what should I do? I tried reload saves but it makes no difference. This happened when I did "the fate of the skaal" quest, right after I killed the dragon that guard the bend will word wall.

It doesn't make any difference to the quest, it still resolves, least it did for me, once the quest is completed, the projection should vanish.. Ignore it an carry on,

Are you playing with mods or playing with no mods because mods could be casuisng this miraak not vanishing bug.

Oh. He can't be talked to or interacted with save for when he is spoken to at his "big boss fight" later. Miraak reappears every time a sufficiently strong dragon is killed by the player or an NPC, until he is fought in said later fight, to steal the dragon soul from the dragon. Each time though, he will no longer appear in the spot by the dragon with fast-travelling to another location, or just leaving the area in any other way. I beat Miraak, so I know this.
