WTF is cyclic interaction detected?
trying to mod Skyrim and keep getting this error message evrytime I use LOOT in MO2 and dont have a clue what it means:

[error] Cyclic interaction detected: ELE_SSE.esp --[Master]-> ELE ELFX Bards.esp --[Group]-> ELFXEnhancer.esp --[Master]-> Immersive Citizens - ELFXEnhancer patch.esp --[Group]-> ELE_SSE.esp
[error] Loot failed. Exit code was: 0x1

Generically speaking, a cyclic error means that you have set load ordering rules that are contradictory.

For a more comprehensive answer, please tell us which mod manager you are using and post your load order (if you are using standalone LOOT, do this by clicking on "Game" in the toolbar, and then "Copy Load Order" and paste the results in the body of your reply.

It's basically as Mikk said above; you've got a loop. One mod must be above another (such as a "Master"), but you've told it to be below it (such as a patch that relies on the Master). LOOT can't order something in 2 places, so it becomes a cycle.

OP's already told us in the first sentence; MO2

^ That will help anyone looking to help you OP. You'll easily get more help by posting your load order (or your entire list of mods)
Others might even see other errors you haven't noticed yet, and save you the trouble of a broken save later on.

Think I found the culprit; it was a lighting mod for ENB that I'm guessing was clashing with ELFX. I never really used an ENB before so I figured just download anything related to ENB's without checking
