I similar problems with SkyUI relating to iNeed that I was able to fix. Here's a link to the nexusmods thread I had with the iNeed programmer. Look for the bug post by me titled: "iNeed appears to be incompatible with SKYUI". Hope this helps.

That's because if you're running newer versions of skyrim, SkyUI is broken (thanks to bethesda's forced AE updates). You'll also need this with SkyUI:

it fixes SkyUI so it'll work with newer versions. Don't expect an update for SkyUI though, the modder has stopped modding for years
