At the Summit of Apocrypha

Really perplexed....I completed 2 black books and reached chapter VI on the third (Waking Dreams). I also received instructions from Frea to kill Miraak. Apsect and Bend Will shouts are all earned. I cannot proceed with chapter VI because there is no wall, platform or seekers at the end of the tunnel leading to a sea of green goo with Miraak's temple on the far horizon. I tried resetting the quest, but keep coming back to the same situation. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

After defeating them and a Lurker that appears out of a slime pool, reading the Word Wall will teach a word of the Dragon Aspect shout.

Suddenly, Miraak's dragon, Sahrotaar, will fly overhead and begin a powerful attack. The full power Bend Will shout will break his will. He will land and state, "Hail, thuri. Your thu'um has the mastery. Climb aboard and I will carry you to Miraak."

Once the Dragonborn mounts him, he will take off and a message will appear to explain how to ride the dragon. Sahrotaar cannot be directly controlled in flight, rather guided in a general direction to attack enemies. He will fly over a platform with several seekers and lurkers, giving the Dragonborn a chance to practice attacking. Once they are all dead, he will proceed to the high tower with Miraak.

Note: If the Dragonborn has not yet reached this point in the main questline, Sahrotaar will not appear. Read the Black Book: Waking Dreams again to leave Apocrypha.

I'm guessing that's where you are? Sahrotaar never came around? Did you actually learn all three words of Bend Will?

PC 360 When the Dragonborn approaches the word wall and learns a word of power, the dragon may not show up. This prevents the quest from being completed.
This might not be a bug, but an oversight: Ensure all the Words of Power are unlocked for the Bend Will shout. Unlocking the last Word of Power should prompt the quest to update and Sahrotaar to appear.
PC(fix) If all the words for Bend Will are unlocked and Sahrotaar still does not appear, using the console command setstage dlc2mq06 200 will force the quest to update and summon the dragon.

Once you get to the point of mounting the dragon SAVE GAME FIRST. This is the worst bug infested quest in the whole game. You can have all the needed quests done and it can still have bugs. In oldrim I quit the game because after Mirack was dead I did not get the "quest complete" message and could not complete the quest and get the reward to change your perks. Icould not return to the main game either without using tcl.

Rule of thumb....always check the integrity of the game files before looking for other solutions. Why I didn't, I do not know. It's usually the first thing I do.
4 files were missing, the game is back to normal.

If you cleaned your masters, that's probably all it replaced. Make sure that you clean them properly and you shouldn't have a problem. I'd also suggest using the Unofficial Patch.
