Lost Valkygg and Ebony bow

So i heard you can get ebony bow at lost Valkygg as early as level 1. However when i went there and beat the Draugr Deathlord, he didnt drop ebony bow instead he dropped either elven, glass or ancient bows.

I tried saving at Morthal before entering the ruins so i can reload if ever the deathlord didnt drop a ebony bow but its been 1.5 hr now an he still doesnt drop ebony bow. Does it have a very low chance of dropping? cuz everyone on youtube seems getting it on their first try.

Are you a stealth archer? If not, just use the Glass bow; it's a hair's breadth worse DPS than the Ebony. I mean, you can keep grinding it out at level 1 just to min max, but in that case why not get the Bound Bow which does more DPS and damage per hit than the Ebony bow anyways?

well he often didn't drop it in my games ... seen ocrish, glass, elven, etc ... I think its pure luck

The Deathlord used to drop an Ebony bow for me, before I installed USLEEP. Now it is just a regular leveled bow.

[SOLVED] Ok, i tried uninstalling the Unofficial patch and now it drops ebony equipments.

Yeah, you've probably just wrecked your save by doing that. Its recommended not to uninstall any esp/esm mods during a playthrough, but something as big as the unofficial patch, removing it and playing without it, then adding it back later is going to wreck your game, maybe not now but most likely later.

If I were you, go back to the save before you removed the patch. Forget the bow, if you're so desperate for an ebony bow just add one into your inventory with console. Much better than wrecking your game.
