Plague of the dead
This looks interesting, anyone here tried it out? Granted it is a bit expensive for monster spawns, if that is all it is. What the hell is mort flesh for? Wasn't it garbage in Oblivion?

If it was like 200 then maybe, but 400 yeah is way too much, I am not averse to throwing away steam wallet money, since you can get it so easily, but this stuff is a bit too much.

there are better things to trow your steam wallet at
and if you save up all those small sums you end up with a big one that can actually buy you a game
dont send them money, not even a single cent
use your brain before you use your wallet and spend wisely
if you want to mod skyrim go to the nexus, its less buggy, more stable and has actual quality

I have several dozen se mods already, I was just wondering about these CC things. The arcane arrows, and mage pack is cheap (albeit pointless), but the fact I'd have to spend 8$ or so to get those is too much, and plague of the dead is way too much for monster spawns as well. I thought maybe it'd be integrated in the game in a cool and unique way or something.

The arrow and spell packs are worth the money. The Plague of the dead not really. It makes small zombie hordes spawn at certain locations and attacking you and your surroundings. The Quest is not very good, but it does its job integrating them. It is an acceptable pack, seeing it as their first pack to add new enemies.

Havent found any bugs in the bought addons of the CC, and they also were stable.
Have you tried them out yourselfe or are you just writing based on someone elses opinion?

nope, the spells is just all in a box
only way it would be worse would be if the box was in riverwood
and most of those a clear copy's of already existing mods
and the arrows prevent your bows enchantments so are completely useless
its simply a badly implemented cash grab by bethesda and not worth a cent
even their best thing, the survival mode
breaks if you have the unoffical patch
doesnt work with skse (tho that is not that bad yet since its still very new and not a lot needs it yet, but it will become a problem later)
and doesnt work with mod added food or clothing unlike the free survival mods that had an option to add heat settings or food settings to a mod added item
and even with that a lot of the vanilla food was forgotten, rabbitlegs dont count once cooked
its trash, and thats the best they can offer
just keep your money and buy an indie game for the price of 1,5 "mods"

If they made a bundle of the smaller, but worthwhile things, it would be much easier to spend the 8$ just to get it. I don't really like their current system. I do like the idea of monster "DLC" though, since I could never get them to work in the original Skyrim without clashing with something else, and or crashing constantly - I really think 200 would be a better price range, 400 might be ok if it was integrated more in depth. I think from what I have seen it currently it gives you some crappy summons, but I mean, you get skeleton summons from Dawnguard.

You can also find every spell in the gameworld. They prevent your bow enchantements, because they are already magic. It is in their description.
You can see everything as a copy for an existing mod, because there are a lot of mods out there afther 6 years.

Very true. I'm sure they would get the same reaction on actual DLC - actually I think they did with Automatron. Other than full length quest DLC, there is almost nothing a mod probably hasn't done in some way. Still, their pricing is on 90% of the items way too much on this CC content, and very sparse in quality it seems.

They also will spawn at night, if you just fasttravel you will newer see one. But if you play in survival mode starting a new game they can be a challange. I agree with them not being worth the 400, at least if you calculate 100 = 1 buck. They are worth if you buy the 20 buck credit pack or the 35 bucks credit pack. But there is no content really worth spending everithing in.

I agree, but I hope it will change in the future

So they are pretty much integrated like vampire spawns? I do play in survival/LEG at the moment, maybe a monster pack down the line (bundle again) would make it worth it.
El lobo Oct 5, 2017 @ 12:41am
They spawn more or less like vampires. But they fight differently, like a stronger meele wapons only version of simple draugers. The best moment I had with them was when they attacked a imperial camp in a group of arroun 8 Zombies, they had no real chance, but it looked like a zombie apocalipse would have started in skyrim.

It you buy it you will first be disappointed, because of the quest. But for me it was more or less worth it. Even If I have 2600 Credits lying arround on my account.
Omaeka Oct 5, 2017 @ 12:43am
The fact the zombies use weapons is a big warning sign. Zombies in TES never used weapons as they were their own type of creature with animations and sounds. These really are reskinned Draugr and that shows by the fact they are forced to use weaponry and have nothing else.
