Well, I had this game on a CD back in the day and now I am playing it again on steam. And what a good game this still is to play. Unfortunately some AI nations are completely broken (Spain for example) but playing against a very hard Russia AI works pretty well for most games. I wonder if there were tournaments for this game back in the day and if anyone knows some youtube videos of this. Maybe we should try to get a tournament going? I am having a very good time with the skirmishes against the AI :)...

So, i'm not guaranted this method but, you can try set off your videocard driver (Nvidia or AMD) in your Task Manager, then set on this driver again and restart your PC, try to start any battle (skirmish, campaing, battles) this might be work without static freeze on first frame. Leave here for me your respond how it's work....

I own the game in GOG but it freezes a lot, it works well on steam? (playing on Win 10) Thanks!

Al momento de de iniciar la partida el juego se congela, aunque se puede mover el mouse y escuchar la banda sonora (lo único). Agradecería una solución, si es que la hay...
