You do not get it dude. Please read this Plots/Reviews to understand this game. You should clearly explain why it is bad to raise the attention. Why it is bad to make gaming kids that never read newspaper aware of this ? I got in touch with middle east conflict when i was 12 by the game "Conflict: The Middle East Political Simulator". At this time I started thinking of the situation. In school, no teacher ever was talking about this to the pupils. But you come here blame us as uneducated and want to tell what is good and what is bad ? Who are you?
Now let me read something of your education and give me a good answear, dude!
".... The game developed by Cats Who Play is an attempt to direct the public attention towards the Syrian conflict. While new tragic news from the country have become bread and butter of the news stations, Europe and the rest of the world mainly equate the problem with the incoming waves of immigrants. The game recalls the beginning of the conflict, showing a brutal reality of war, not from a point of view of a general, but a simple citizen, who has to fight for his life and freedom." - http://games.gamepressure.com/game.asp?ID=18676
or Gametunnel:
"This war has been going on for a long time, and it’s hard to say when it will be over. We got so used to it that news from Syria has become trivial. We’ve even already forgotten how it all started, and where the roots of the terrible terror lie – the terror that swept across Europe in recent years.
Syria is all over the news, and it’s become a subject of many documentaries. We, however, want to show the story through the lens of the game and don’t let the word "game" mislead you. This game does not claim to be a history lesson, but it shows the course of the war in all its seriousness through the major milestones, from the first days till the latest important victories over terror." - http://gametunnel.com/syrian-warfare/
and the developer stated:
Art, for example during The Great Patriotic War (as a part of WWII) in our country were created a lot of patriotic works of art (books, songs, cinema etc). And no one said that was a bad taste. It was a contribution of creative persons in the great victory. We develope the game not just for fun or money. We think we can do something for support Syrian people and our Russian soldiers. It is a drop in the ocean probably, but it is our contribution.'
'You play start from simple policeman and see how civil war is rising up, after few mission you can get support from RF, and game finished in Palmira. Yes we know more battles is happening after Palmira and other anti-ISIS forces is fight in real life, but we not have so much time to present them all in the game just from start, but of course we planning develop new missions and continue storyline after steam release (like kurdish side or special mission from anti-ISIS coalition), there a big filed for develop. And last one thing, we not give to a player chance to fight on the side of terrorists, not in single, not in multiplayer when it comes. I think its strange thing when someone wonna play on this evil murders side, we not support it.'
Your not getting it. Most of you just don't seem to see the connection. Your incapable of seeing what I am getting at. In a time where fake news is prolific, this game states that its a true story. Its too soon to know the true story because its still happening.
You don't get it at all
So you take all your games as a News source and factual evidence with 100% accuracy to what's happening in the "real world".
You sir, have issues. Did you also protest Grand Theft Auto 5 for all the violence in the United States as well?
Godspeed
Great thanks to those who stood the same ground I did in exposing this outrage.
This is not my first rodeo
The game will be back up soon and Pro-terrorists like you will have lost again. Professional victim.
