Tenari Glacier Food Issue

So, I've replayed Tenari Glacier about 3 - 4 times (on cakewalk difficulty - I like to build) and this always happens and always around the same time. I get a good sized colony up and running, everything is showing green. I've got a positive intake of food even during the winter and then all of a sudden, maybe 2/3 finished the mission all of sudden my food starts dropping. The thing is, my food intake is still showing positive (green). It doesn't actually start showing red until well after colonists start dying and at that point the game's lost.

Is there food in storage though? The warehouses can fill up with non food leaving no place to store the food produced. This is all I got for you, so just say if that was it or not. I'm not really deep into this game.

I'll have to look. I do have problems with storage at that time I know that. Thanks. I hadn't thought of that.

They forgot to explain to people the relationships between structures in the tutorals. Farm to Mill to warehouse sort of thing. Something like that takes a while to sort out. The value of staffing Farm structures and related critical production structures was a hard learn. I max out my farm and MILL staffing early as possible so the colonists do spend all their time in the bars and such. Water and power are critical to keeping the food chain up and running also. I have made one of these mistake early game often. Balance!!! Over extend or forget one item, and Bingo! You are gonzo! Happy Gaming.
