Staff keep saying it's realist, maybe it is, but it's not fun... maybe there should be an option to reduce injury rate ?

You can get the in-game editor and remove injuries if you feel it's making the game too difficult for you to manage.

Patronising and offensive, reads as 'if you're too stupid to play the game cheat'.

injuries are an integral part of the game, they are part of the overall challenge of managing a team which everyone who loves this game accepts, no injuries is even more ludicrous than too many, let's just have a more realistic implementation of injuries that closely mirrors the real world is all we're saying.

I'm 6 games into the season and i get 1 or 2 injuries per game im top of the injury table with 10 players out and the closest team to me is watford with 3 how is it good we have all the injuries but A.I doesn't

There is a huge difference between "game too difficult" and being completely unrealistic. The number of injuries in the beta are simply crazy...

I've heard a few examples of 'crazy', but it's quite rare to see actual figures. What point of the season are you currently at? How many first team players do you currently have injured? How many injuries have you had so far up to this point in the season?

I agree! shouldnt have to use an in-game editor!

As we've said numerous times (and others have agreed with) the numbers on the few occasions we've had concrete numbers given have never been that high. We've also run numerous tests over the game development cycle that suggest if anything, that overall figures are slightly too low in-game.

Look at the current Premier League injury table - http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php

Bear in mind this only includes first team players, when in FM the injury table includes U23 and U18 squad members. How does this compare to your own game?

In my Newcastle game, I had something like 8-10 players injured very early in the season. Turned out a combination of my tactics, training (also extra player training) and not being able to rotate players was the issue. Things settled once I was able to rotate players regularly and keep the main first team squad match fit by playing them in the U23 and U18 games. It was a real struggle and I had some very poor performances but it evened out over time.

The problem is not about if there are too many injuries or not, it's that some people just play for fun, and it's not funny to see 8 of our best players injured at the same time...

Is it really THAT hard to add an option to select or not to reduce the injuryrate by half or something ?

This way, people who want a real challenge will set this option blanked, people who find the game to hard, or just don't like the game to be so realistic on this matter will check it...

Everyone would be happy...

From a code perspective - yes, absolutely. There's already a solution for this problem facing the small number of people who feel there are too many injuries as I mentioned earlier, they can just remove them via the in-game editor.

Thanks.

Just reading all the comments and thanks for the feedback folks. I personally couldnt agree more with the comments supporting my original point, and thankfully this isnt just me seeing it. Again i agree with the fact we shouldnt need to use editor and also thought the idea of using Beta mode was to feedback what WE (yes the public who pay and enjoy playing this game) are suggesting is ruining the FM experience and taking the pleasure away?

I think from the comments above id say the majority are agreeing with me, and the minority are dealing with it, though still not necessarily happy with it.

Just a thought N Brocky? Ive played this for years and last year the game did the same but once i got through the first half of the season this settles down. Its almost like a roll of dice to chance whether you're plague with injuries or not? Again being a statistician i appeciate your reference to the premier league table though i only see 8 as the most, with the others being less in numbers. As one person said above they have 10 at Newcastle, I got 9 just as playing 1st game of season, who else has these numbers.... not the table you refer us to? I really couldnt be bothered carrying on and put this down to the BETA mode? I certainly hope so? Other than that i love the game! ;-)

9 players injured in the first game? Proof? You would have had to forfeit the match if this was true. So screenshot the 3-0 forfeit loss please. Injuries are fine always have been just bad players who don't manage their tactics and training properly. No, its not the majority agreeing its a small percentage of FM players whining about it.
