Uplay launcher keeps crashing

Each time I try to launch me Might & Magic Heroes VI, the Uplay Launcher tries to launch, but it crashes everytime, which means I can't play the game I just bought... Is there a fix for this somewhere or am I just screwed?

Same here first i get KERNELBASE.dll not found then uplay crashes.

Try:

Go in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher" then right click on "Uplay.exe" and lauch as admin, and compatibility Windows 7 (I'm running Win 8)

Start Uplay with the changed settings and log in

Activate your HOMM6 Key

Launch HOMM6 from Steam

Another solution : download Uplau client from http://uplay.ubi.com/ and install it.
Game will be lauched w/o any problem.
I didn it on 3 computers already. Same problem - same solution.

The first time I installed M & M VI would not start, perhaps because of a conflict between Steam and Uplay, I uninstalled it and tried to install the launcher Uplay first, I created the account and start all over, then after I installed M & M VI, with Uplay open.
Ask you to write the key product and from there it will be all right to play ... at least it worked well for me

i've got it working by installing uplay from ubisoft and verifying the game cash but it's still giving me the KERNELBASE.dll is missing.

I've tried to activate my key but the client keeps saying "the Ubisoft server is not available".. any suggestions?

i found if i went to ubisoft site and downloaded the UPLAY launcher first then downloaded the game on steam it worked
