Where is old PREY ?

I wanted to buy original Prey (2006) last sale but i could not found it on steam store i wonder why all those compenies that had anything to to with development of that game are still standing so why is old prey not available for sale ?

PS:Lol how they could call this game prey it has nothing to do with original game...
Dont tell me this is reboot because i know its not its different universe diferent aliens just BS story and they called it prey because if game was called quiver or anything nobody would be interested in this whole game.I am tired of those system shock clones...Back when i bought physiscal copy of this game i was blasted away back then i liked the story and few puzzles idtech 4 again showed powerfull interactive gui system...Portals came before portal and i could not understand back then how such think could be in game even made...That space ship was creepy and you dont see native american abducted by aliens every day...

So Kennedy survived assasination and speeded up space race...
How stupid does it sound ? why ? just why ?

Aliens look like hammered ♥♥♥♥ and are not even close to aliens from orignal prey

my guess is...Only thing arkane studios managed to obtain whom Human head studios was just a word prey...

You know obtain the brand...Turn it in bioshock dont include anything from original game put there models from dishonored and...voila call it PREY even if its not PREY whatever

You know this game is not CANNON.
I remember when i first seen trailer on prey 2 yes that cancelled prey...I remember when i said this looks good even if it is not obviosly PREY...but i said i give it a shot

after this game got released i was a little sceptical but more optimistic after
i launched the game and encountered first enemies my optimism changed to extreme pessimism

Only logical explanation why PREY was removed from steam was that maybe ARKANE STUDIOS thought...man this game is ♥♥♥♥ it doesnt not even look like game we are working on no actually it looks better so we must take it down because people wont be buying our new game...OK PUFF...

If you put game back on steam i promise i will buy 4 pack for my friends
And maybe i will pay more for your stinky game...
I hope you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are at least working on remake and thats the reason why you put it from store.

Its good i didnt pay more after sale bacuse clearly game crashes very often...

Lol so many games are trying to clone system shock and i must say prey does best job in that...
But seriously does every AAA game have to have stupid stealth mechanics ?
Like people today cant live without it...
I was playing Prey today all day and i would like to take few of my stupid comments about this game bad...but i am still shaping my opinion. (i am actually enjoying the game 0_0 )
Its funny like all new games are stealing mechanics and gameplay features from other games that were popular and succesfull back in the day.
This game is not so bad as i thought but still..they should add glory kills many games today have it and prey doesnt... i am just kidding of course

I was judging the game based on my 44minute game session
Reason behind it is:Most games will grab you by balls in first 15-20 minutes if they dont you might not be having fun in next few hours but prey is in this different i like how game is not forcing you to go just one linear way but you cant try many workarouds...i like this approach very much

But still and again this is not prey nor system shock...its completely different game
I know you might have truble to understand me because you never played obviously system shock not even original PREY...

Publishers like getting rid of the original IPs of the same name as it lets gamers know what a real decent game is like.

They got rid of the real prey (and actually good game that does something new) so the can memory hole the IP and start from scratch and pretend that the Prey IP was their own invention.

I promise you that in the next couple of years, they delist this version and replace it with a "HD Remaster" that is also released on the ps5 and next Xbox, except the PC version will only look like someones run a sharpen filter over the textures and theyll add some extra god rays.

It will also run worse than this original version, and theyll claim its because of the "enhancements".

Bethesda, who owns Arkane Studios didn't know what to do with the brand name they bought, aka PREY. This was suppose to be a game with another name with everything else more or less the same. So they just slapped the name PREY and that's it. Arkane had nothing to do with it.

And System Shock "clones" > FPS "clones". Because the only game besides System Shock is Deus Ex, Thief and Dishonored. What a great immersive experience, nuh?

AS to why it was removed, who knows. Go trash bethesda for that. The original was a fantastic game.

Anyway, I must be an idiot too as I agree with mERINAroer. So maybe smart people could explain us why this game (which has absolutely nothing close to masterpiece Prey 2006) is called Prey?

I suppose it's so obvious that smart won't spend time to give idiots the(ir) smart answer?
