Is there a sims 3 reset age cheat?
I know there's one for sims 4, but if there's one for sims 3, can someone please tell me it so I could reset the age of one of my sims please? She's modeled after me, & I accidently had aged her into an elderly woman way before her time. I'd love to reset her age, because I don't want her to die yet.

~~
Thank you everyone! :D With your help was able to reset my sims' ages in sims 3. When I got into it today, I at some point had aged my bf's sim so he could be an elder, with mine, but they have a kid. So I didn't want them to end up dying and abandoning their kid. So they are young adults again :D Thank you again, I couldn't have done it with your help.

As far as I'm aware, there is not such a cheat. But, getting a tattoo will give back several more days to your sim's current age stage.

If you try out testingcheatsenabled true you may be able to reverse her age by going back into CAS and re-setting the age. You can do that by typing 'testingcheatsenabled true' into the console and shift and clicking on your sim. Remember to disable it after you're done by typing in 'testingcheatsenabled false' into the console, testingcheats is basically the code of the game the developers used while building it.

Otherwise, it's worth typing in 'help' into the console. A list of cheats and codes will appear that may help you.

@Solethe has the right procedure. Turn on cheats, shift-click your Sim and select "Edit in CAS". On the Basics tab, you'll see that Elder is highlighted for the age. Change it to Young Adult or Adult and accept the change to return to the game. Save before doing it and make a new save immediately after doing it (Save As...).

I prefer to use the Master Controller mod with the Cheats add-on. It does the same thing (click the sim -> NRaas -> Master Controller -> Advanced -> Edit in CAS), but MC's CAS is less prone to corrupting your game than the developer console version.

If you have Supernatural installed, you could also visit the Elixir shop and purchase a Fountain of Youth elixir. Drink it and it will put your Sim back at Day 1 of being a Young Adult without having to go through the Create-a-Sim stuff. I think the Fountain of Youth from Hidden Springs (it's a Store town) does something similar, but haven't messed with it since there are other ways that get me to the same result.

Thanks, I'll do that. And is the Supernatural expensive? I don't have it, but it sounds so cool :D

It's normally $20 (same at the Origin store). Unless you're an absolute "gotta get 'em all" fan, I'd wait for the next Steam sale. It was on sale for $5 during the Winter Sale (ended last week) and showed up unexpectedly about a month or six weeks earlier on a Midweek Madness sale for $5. I'm not holding my breath on it showing up there again anytime soon, but it will likely go for $5 or $7.50 during the Summer Sale. Origin has rare sales on TS3 stuff, but they're typically only 50% off (so $10). But if you buy from Origin, you can't play it on Steam.

Thanks for informing me about all of this :D I'll keep an eye out for the sales. And I do have sims 3 from Steam, so if it's sims 3 related, I'll get it from Steam. But if it's sims 4, I'll get it from Origin since I gotten sims 4 from Origin.

If you have some patience and don't wish to use cheats and/or buy the supernatural EP, you could always make ambrosia.

http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/skills/cooking/ambrosia.php

It won't turn an Elder or Adult to a Young Adult, but it WILL reset their timer. For example, an Adult at the end of the lifestage can eat a plate of Ambrosia and be returned to the start of Adulthood before their birthday.
