Hot Pursuit crashes on startup HELP PLEASE!!!
Every time i attempt to start the game, it just shows a black screen for a couple seconds then a a thing pops up that says: "NFS11.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" or at least something similar to that. Help Please!

Specs: windows xp professional Version 2002-32 bit
graphics: ATI X1650
RAM: 3.24GB
Intel core 2 Duo CPU@2.66ghz

Try to reinstall the game, or refresh the cache from Steam

i tried re installing it, but that didn't work, but i don't know how to refresh the cache.

that happened to me also... i deleted the gamepad config file : %my docs%\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit\Save\Default\controls.NFS11Save and everything went fine. hope that will help

when i go to \My Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit, there is nothing in the folder except for something named CONFIG.NFS11Save...so idk

For me it's working. I'm enjoying the game again =)

I know I am a bit late but I found the solution!

Go to task manager and delete the "Touch Writing Panel" or something like that and launch the game! Same problem is with Grid Autosport with the same solution. If you want a more long term solution disable it from the services.
