Yes you do, but you dont need origin.

One more question: Does Steam download all dlcs automatically or do I have to go through another site to download them? As I might buy the Ultimate edition.

well ultimate edition is worth it

and you directly get all dlc im pretty sure

but you may have to unlock content buy reddeming codes maybe within the game or with bioware im pretty sure

You don't need either an EA account or Origin. When you install the game (Ultimate edition) via steam the DLC are installed too and you can play them without log on your EA/Bioware account (But you can log in anyways if you want to.)

If it's true you don't need an Origin account then Im overjoyed!
Got both DA:O & DA:A as singles and connected them to Origin (my biggest mistake EVER!) and now I can finally get them to delete my account, though I do not get any refoundings for either DLCs or my PS3 version of the game -.-

The dlcs are included in the game download file. I'm about 100% sure that steam downloads them to your game files. When you load up Dragon Age Origins the world map will highlight gold icons for fast travelling. Those are your dlc quests!! Also you start with one peice of your blood dragon plate already in your inventory.

I can confirm I have all the DLC activated in my game and I never connectd to Origin or Bioware. It just activated automatically.

Steam downloads the DLC.

guys i have a problem. steam doesnt dowonload the dlc content but i already have the ultimate version...so what can i do ?

Have you checked it in-game on the list that they are not downloaded?
