most needed skills (for side quests)

Hi all, I'm going to be playing an elf warrior and I like getting as many side quests done as possible. I know that sometimes you have to have talents in order to complete side quests like herbalism or poison making, I know that sometimes the npcs will have the skill in order to complete the quest. What talents as the player character should I get in order to complete the side quests the companions won't have the talents for. I hope that makes sense.

There's a questline in Denerim where the Warden, not a party member, must have at least one rank in Stealing or Stealth. Though having both would be better, if you only have one skill, take Stealing. Coercion is also helpful in not only obtaining quests, but also more rewards or alternate methods of pursuing the quest.

I like Coercion but I always like playing characters who tend to be diplomacy lovers and conversation hunters :)

I always max out talking skills, I like to have people agreeing with me everywhere lol. You'll also need survival skills for a certain quest plus its a wonderful skill to have.

I always failed that one quest you are talking about because I always forgot to have survival skills :P

I max out Coercion first. Most of the quests can be completed if any party member has the required skill. But to get the experience points for that quest being discussed, your character has to have two points in Survival. One point in Stealing and one point in Stealth is desirable before you get to Denerim. I've screwed the pooch on both of these quests, BTW.
