DA;O Broken Still (bought again)

I uninstalled and reinstalled 7 times. Even went over to Origin and paid 10 bucks again to have the game. It wont work over there either...
the only thing I did was added this Samsung G9 ultra wide monitor. I decided to return it and went back to my 1440 27" i been using for 5 years. Dragon Age still wont open. Please help ill even pay for your troubles or buy you a game on steam.

Let me say that I'm not a computer expert....just so you're aware upfront. Are you getting an error message when you try to run the game? If so, what does it say? You said that the the only thing you added was a monitor, so does that mean that the game ran fine before you added that or that it didn't run before you added the monitor either? What are your computer specifications? Have you verified the files? Have you tried running the game under an older version of Windows? These are just some questions off the top of my head to try and help determine what might be going on. I know some people have issues with the game. Some have been able to fix it so it can be played, but I think some others have not. Maybe a bit more info of what is going on would help identify what might help with your computer.

i did the validation and nothing. Not getting any error messages. the game wont run at all. I get to the main menu and then it goes right back to Steam. I been playing the game for 10 years and this is the first issue and its bad. I wish I was getting an error message so i had something to work with

i was playing it last week before I got the G9 Odyssey. it was running fine for years. somethign is broke somewhere and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling is working. Kingdom of Amalur ReReckoning wont launch either

is that the issue? I cant rename it as its not here. only d3dx9_24 through 43

i did. still nothign on how to get that file/folder name
i did the Dx11 install 30 times. Legacy the same amount. ran ad admin and all. its not woking and the file is not in my system that is mentioned in this guide

WHERE is the error report? At least with that I can work with something. the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game wont run at all. getting reall annoyed

Here is a thread that I found on the EA forum. It talks about the d3dx9_XY.dll issue. I don't know if it will work for you or not, but it's a starting point.

If I'm understanding some of the threads that I'm reading, it sounds (to me) like maybe Direct X got messed up when you installed the monitor. I installed a game awhile back that messed up my computer. It ended up messing up the graphic card which prevented DA:O from playing. I ended up sending the computer in for repairs as it messed up a bunch of things and I was unable to get it all straightened out on my own. Here is another thread that talks about the dll being missing and how to install it and fix the Direct X. Maybe that will do the trick. There is a link in the thread of where to download from Microsoft.

Sorry you're having so much trouble. I know how frustrating it is to want to play a favorite and crazy stuff is preventing the game from playing.
