You have to beat the game at least once and change the DS2 DAT files like it shows.

That link is for the DS2DAT0_CONDUIT4PC.DAT which then should be changed to to DS2DAT0.DAT and then rest changed in according to the post.

Posted this here because it doesn't seem to be in these forums but instead the Dead Space Series forums.
