Product activation key for EA Play?

After installing this game with EA play subscription, launching the game asks for a serial key which was not provided. Isnt it in the game already?

I have the same problem - wrong serial key from EA Play. EA support site for some reason doesn't work (always ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error on Firefox, Chrome and IE). I don't know what to do now.

Other EA Play games (like "Fe" or "Unravel") work. Also, if I launch Origin all those games appear in library there tagged as "new" except Dead Space 2. Serial key is actually seems to be unverified and game unregistered.

No CD key for me too and I have owned it since 2014 - it used to work now we not getting a key for it :(

Please open Support tickets with STEAM so they can be aware of the problem of NO CD KEYS and then get it sorted please ? =]

Important note! Just to clarify - it's a no-cd patch which along the way don't let activation manager block the game. "Invalid serial" error still pops-up but the game launches anyway. Yes, sounds suspicious, but I can confirm it works - the game started and I closed it on main menu. EA at any point may or may not think that you are violating some agreement. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

same here, owned since 2013 wanted to play mulitplayer only to see a "invalid CD key" after installing lmao. can't get past the wizard without this non existent key.

Tried to open a steam support ticket for this but it just directs me to EA but EA says to contact steam so now it is a vicious loop.

Just got the same thing. Spent 3 hours of my time talking to EA customer service, They were not able to fix the problem and all they said was "Other players are experiencing this issue and wont be addressed until our specialist team reviews it" basically the game is unplayable for a indefinite period of time

Here to echo what others have said. EA tried to get it to work on my Steam account and were unable to do so. They are "looking into it" essentially with no time frame as to what the issue might be or how long it may take to fix.
