xbox controller not griping while holding down LT/RT

i do not know if anyone else has or is having this issue but while playing the game i am unable to grip on to anything, i have changed the batteries in the controller and tried it hardwired and nothing work, any suggestions?

I had this issue on the Xbox app version recently. What I did to fix it was un-pair and re-pair my controller with my computer and it started working as intended. It was affecting all input from the controller, though; it would start, then stop, then start again whatever button I was holding down.

This did not work for me unfortunately, I do not know what else to try
