Found the same problems here. Nw its again downloading 9gb hope it works after the download. Thanks...

same here had the geek squad clean up my files still no help Stream will have to fix this because nothing seems to work right now.

I downloaded the 9 GB's of files but the game keeps trying to download more even though it's completed.

Reboot or try to verify again. Next thing is to reinstall. There update broke everybody's ww2 install on steam.

Keep re-validating. Mine kept stopping part way through the download. If revalidated again, it would continue from where it last stopped. It took me about 5 goes to get all 29 files / 9GB.

Yep I got screwed by this bug too, 9 gig download on a 6meg DSL line is about 4 - 4 1/2 hours. Steam's been doing this how many years and still can't get it right ?

8 hours for 9gb?? Holy crap! How long did it take you to download and install the game initially then since it was huge?? lol I'm currently downloading the 9 gb and it's saying 17 minutes estimated time.

Some of us have DSL for a net connection , mine took 15 hours to load the first time. Sucked balls when you thought you where buying a DVD not a damned activation code in a DVD sleeve like a real game

HOW DO I "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME"

As people have previously stated, you must go to your steam library, go to COD WW2, right click it, then go to properties and click local files and choose Verify Integrity of Game. You may need to restart your comp first.
