EE - Imhotep in Temple District

Anyone know where the Temple District is? I'm at the Cursed Plateau (outside Thebes) having spoken to Tutankhamun. The main quest says I need to talk to Imhotep and kill Akhenaten. I have a feeling i should have already spoken to Imhotep at this point.

You probably did meet him as i did earlier in the EE.

Having spoken to a friend apparently you talk to him after killing Akhenaten. The issue here is that the way the objectives are laid out in the main quest infer you should be talking to Imhotep then Tutankhamun and then killing the boss.

after u killed akhenaten imhothep appears again (first u spoke him at temple of osiris 2 city before thebes) so u couldnt find akheneten if i understand correctly?

I have talked to Imhotep once already in EE can't remember where exactly. Finding Akhenaten isn't the problem. I'm at the Cursed Plateau now and he is ahead of me. The problem is that the main quests infers I should have talked to Imhotep already. It's not clear at all that you talk to him after the fight, I didn't want to break the quest hence the post.
