Linux / Mac OS version
After all the game is made in Unity 3D so provided you ask around to other Unity devs what mistakes you should avoid it shouldn't be too too hard to do ;)
Sooo can we hope or nah ?
Even if we have to wait after the windows release.

While I wish it were this easy, the reality is that such ports are not trivial at all (especially with the amount of custom rendering tech we have).

They will be considered after launch, and it will depend on how well the game does. That's all I can say for now.

I would definitely buy the game at some point if there is going to be a Mac port.

I started following this game in 2015, when Linux was listed as a platform in their presskit, and was hoping that still was the plan. I do understand that plans change though, but hopefully the game does well and ends up on Linux sooner or later. Would love to play it eventually.

Here's another Linux user poking my head in to add my hopes for a Linux version to the pile. :acduck:

A Linux port might not be necessary, look up Valve's Proton.

Again Proton is nothing more than a modified version of wine with all the drawbacks that it comese with.

Native is the way to go.

Thanks for the consideration, but that basically translates to "no", let's not kid ourselves. If porting is an afterthought, it most likely will not happen. Feel free to prove me wrong though! ;)

Would love to see a proper Linux release too. :Penguin:

In my experience (almost a year ago, maybe it's better now?) trying to run Epic Launcher via wine is a huge pain in the rear, and once you get it to run you'll probably get a headache from the constant flickering.

But yeah, once the game is released on Steam we'll probably be able to play it via Proton.

+1 for a linux port. Looks like a lot of fun.

+1 for a Linux native port. I love 3d puzzles games, with weird geometries, and stuff :)

Hope for native support, but i am ok also with running flawless on proton

Works great under the latest Proton.

Linux purists might disagree, but you have to pick your battles.

Yes please, I mean it does work with Proton, but native would still be nicer.

Mh, I am not able to get it to work using Proton. I just get a small window with a unity loading bar and then the program is terminated. Any tips?
