UPDATE: Game installs on steam://install/471770

Crap, I wish you get money for this one, seems really interesting and I am saddened to hear this.

I wonder if it will be temporally free or forever cause the dev at first said it will get removed

I'll have a post about this soon, but basically yes we're making it go free for a few reasons. It's in an as-is state, and anyone who bought it and wants a refund can get one. If you want to pop us some money, we have a tip jar[arcengames.com] where we certainly welcome any change you want to throw our way.

I'll have more details later, but this is the short of it. I was simply going to remove it, but in talking with Valve they suggested this and that seemed like a good idea to me after some reflection. It gets the largest number of people what they want.

Logical decision. You could always make some cosmetic DLC for people that want to contribute.

Also a good point, although I want to be careful not to be too grubby-seeming about it. We're going to add trading cards as well, which generates a small bit of revenue.

How will the card drops be handled? Usually with f2p games, you get 1 card drop per $10 spent on the game (I think - something similar to that). But purchased games get the standard 50% of the set. Will there be different drop rates for people who purchased the game versus the f2p users?

That is an excellent question. It should just drop them like a non-F2P game... hopefully. I'm not positive, though. That's now in review and I will update as I know more.

Maybe if you get enough interested players you could do small token updates as cheap $1-$2 DLC

Yep, that would be an interesting thing to do for sure. As it turns out, I can't do trading cards at all without having some sort of paid content. The cards are done and ready to go, but since this is a completely-free product now, it's not possible for me to release them.

Charge the Steam minimum for one DLC. Perhaps an artbook or something like that. That would open up trading cards and also perhaps offer an interesting look at the development process. Could also just write a short comic instead though (or in addition to).

Oh good point, I had not thought about doing something external like that. That's a really good idea.

I'm not sure how but Dr. Langeskov http://store.steampowered.com/app/409160 has cards with no purchases available. Don't get me wrong, I think you should have some optional extras for those interested, as long as it doesn't waste your development time and money. But cards can be on the game nonetheless it seems.

I only know what I've been told. That's the word I have from my rep about what is available to me with this game, at any rate.
