Strange grey "ghosting" artefacts
Latest version, in Freeplay mode. I'm getting a grey ghost-like swirl of artefacts around the perimeter of my view. It's only really noticeable when zoomed out max. And it's not the FOW. Even more annoying at night than during day. This is on my desktop, I don't have this issue on my laptop. Both have Nvida GTX cards running with latest drivers.

Thanks.

Hi - if you can, please grab a screenshot for us. Also your exact graphics card model would likely be useful.

Thanks, Mike. I'll try to get a screenie then assuming it's still doing it when I next boot up the game.

Hi Mike, do you have an e-mail address I can send the screenies to? Thanks.

That's probably a fallen tree trunk, happens to me too.
Make new games some will have it others dont.

Not sure it is - it moves around your line of sight in a weird way. Anyway I've sent Mike the screenies :)

Thanks for the screenies Ed - I've had a look and yep, given the position of the camera on the minimap that is the effect the engine does when it's fading out something in the foreground. In this case it's a fallen branch that overlooks that area of the map. It's not entirely obvious since you can't currently zoom out far enough to see the branch properly!

The report is much appreciated - it's nice to have an engaged community :steamhappy:
