BETA Patch: AMD Performance Problems & Misc Fixes

We know that we need to iron out a few issues asap and are working hard to deliver the best possible Darksiders experience.

To access the beta please do the following:
Follow this guide http://ds.nordicgames.at/SteamBetaBranchGuide.jpg
Under Step 1 select "Darksiders Warmastered Edition"
Under Step 4 you dont need a password
The branch name for Step 6 is named publicbeta

- AMD performance problem probably fixed
- Users with Non-ANSII character based usernames had problems to get config saved / loaded, this is fixed.
- Fix for users without pre-existing keyboard config could not load / save keyboard config
Note : If you had working keyboard config load / save, then please copy your keyboard configuration to the new place.
The old file was %localappdata%\Darksiders\controls.dcon
New location and filename is %appdata%\kaiko\darksiders1\keymapping.bin
Please just copy the file and rename it.

Not fixed yet, maybe 5 fps more. Between 10 and 20 fps

no difference. I try with the horse. when i use ruin and move across the desert had massive lost.
1080p 115 fps normal and when using Ruin drops to 60-45 or more.
4k 60 fps normal and 45-35 fps.

im not AMD but anyone have a problem saving? my game dont save and it turns off the saving option

Are you sure the Steam update applied? In the main menu on the top left it should show cs 2260

Using the opening fight as a baseline, I'm seeing a *minor* FPS boost with this update (around 3-5fps), but it's still pretty much unplayable. Same framerate at any graphics setting I've tried (around 18-20).

FX-8320 @4ghz, RX340 4Gb (16.11.5 driver), 12Gb RAM, Win10 64bit (version 1607, build 14393.447)

yup im sure, went into media folder and see no updated files, the only file i see modified is the exe. Im just going by the dates in the file structure. The main menu is locked at 114 -115fps, in game drops like a stone to 12fps avg. Is there a config file users can modify? I checked appdata and couldnt find a darksiders folder.

I honestly don't understand whats happening with AMD users (i'm one, btw), i have a R9 380 4gb (latest driver) and my game works perfectly, the only problem i have is with the keys not saving, always reseting after launching the game.

Edit: tried the new patch, same good performance, and looks like the keys reseting bug got fixed, thanks!
Game takes a bit while to exit though, lol.

and do you use any launch options? if so what are the launch options we can use ? I tried -threads 8 but didnt seemingly do anything.

Tried it out and no luck. No change to framerate at all, still getting sub 15FPS. Thanks for the quick work though, the community appreciate the dedication and communication.
