Yup i will definitely not be buying any games from this dev team until this game is finished. Devs need to be held responsible for these scams, and yes they are scams. thats like paying a contractor to build your house, you pay him in FULL and he only builds the basement and the first floor walls then says hes out of money so has to do another job, now your stuck with an unfinsihed house that you paid for.

While I understand your sentiment, but no, I don't believe it was a scam. To be a scam, it had to be done purposefuly with malicious intent and I don't see this here.

My take on this is a series of unfortunate business decisions, probably some errors made by various partners and/or employees, etc. It kiley lead to the current state, where they probably aren't able to raise the capital needed give it a full-steam ahead development cycle. Darewise being primarily an indie producer / investor (up to this point, and for ROKH anyways), to me it's probable that they didn't have enough bandwidth (only so many hours in a day!) to lead and work enough on several and raise the needed human and financial capital.

Now as I said, this is my perspective, so I could be all wrong and they could be cooking the rebirth of ROKH for all I know, but I haven't been in touch with them for many months, and we haven't heard anything encouraging publically, so I've officially moved on.

Well, maybe not before, but leaving it on Steam @$24.99 is definitely a scam. There is little to no development (for the many reasons they have explained), so why don't they just take down the Store Page until they have some movement/financing?

All they are doing at this point is fostering more bad will in the gaming community, IMO.

i should have clarified more in i meant i wouldnt be buying any games from these devs unless its completely 100% finished, i will not support another EA effort UNTIL they finish this game, so if somehow they do finish it then i will rethink my policy, but for me not completing the game and leaving it up on steam for $24.99 is just bad form and something i wouldnt do personally, as Dreamcrusher said they should either state fully they will finish it completely or say its dead and take it off steam, to leave it unfinished but for sale is just wrong.

Yeah, I agree it's not good to leave a game in that state, without any news, and for sale.

Yes, I was. And then they stopped communicating with us (or me, at least) and I thought it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t, that and the other game. So I jumped off.

Hmm, yeah, it's not related at all. The other game they're building is called "Project-C" and its a sci-fi MMO.
