Why is Starr Mazer: DSP still offline?
If the devs replaced the music and sound effects, why is the game offline?

Because some person threatened a ton of false DMCA takedown notices on alot of their content and property... oh wait, that's you!
I'm just going to tell you to look up the definition of Work for Hire in a legal dictionary.

This video doesn't seem affected.

Because The devs and those involved aren't the ones striking videos, you are.

This is one you missed, btw : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcnvlIrQQKw&lc

why is THAT one still up,. Alex?

You are so misguided.

you don't get to feign innocence, Alex.

You don't get to put a number of channels at risk of deletion because you couldn't keep your issues between you and the devs, then begin to ask the devs why they temporarily pulled their game, just as you don't get to file false DMCA notices, and pretend that it's not your problem.

You don't get to say "oh, but this one is still up". there are still a NUMBER of videos that aren't because of your temper tantrum.

you're a composer, right? why do YOU think the game's not up yet?
Do you think that they could come up with new tracks to replace what you've done overnight?

maybe if they want something shoddy, sure. otherwise, no.

That said, You STILL do not own the rights to the tracks that *were* in the game. what you have commited is perjury.

You don't think your actions have consiquences?
I'd be surprised if any devs want to work with you after this stunt. "Real job" or not, this♥♥♥♥♥♥WILL come back to bite you. and I hope it's at the worst possible time, too.

I would like to think of you as a smart person, Alex, but what you have done is pretty dumb. YouTubers are not pawns that you can sacrifice at your whim just because you feel slighted at your former employer, a developer whom their game was victim to the same DMCA tirade that you have caused yourself, ma'am. Furthermore, there are plenty of people willing to set legal precent just because of your actions AND your failure to consider Lenz v. Universal, which held that you MUST consider fair use when filing a DMCA notice. Seeing as you have ignored case law, good luck in your eventual litigation with both YouTubers like myself and Turner Broadcasting, who I am sure will love to sic their army of lawyers at you for your little stunt involving Adult Swim Games.

Go after me personally, I can get an attorney who would love to pursue this to the 5th Circuit and see if there is the need for the US Supreme Court to step in, all because you didn't follow Lenz AND you don't own the copyright in question.

because I forgot to put this...

If you wanted to raise awareness for... whatever issue, fine. raise awareness.
But there are FAR better ways than to threaten the livelihoods and hobbies of video creators.
because all that serves to do is paint YOU as the villian.

Or... did you forget when Sega thought it was an awesome idea to flag every video having to do with Shining Force, and the MASSIVE amounts of backlash that recieved.

it's funny how adays after your DMCA spree , that a "new" video you might not have seen ( since you are hunting for vids)
And I know you're full of it, because I witnessed you DMCA'ing on a totally new channel, and that vid was gone within an hour.

Notice how the "one you didn't miss" is still there?
Anyway, back to the OP. Why is the game still offline? I asked Pixeljam Games and they intentionally avoiding answering the question.
Because they know that talking to you wouldn't do them any good. In any smart legal fight, you let your lawyers do the talking for you if you have to communicate with the other side, and I dare say that Pixeljam Games is doing sound legal strategy by ignoring you completely. When the time comes to communicate, they will do so through legal representation, and NOT through the court of Public Opinion, which is where you want this to be tried at.

The only reason why I am talking to you about this rather than trying to search for an attorney as we speak is because I would like to think that I am pretty safe from your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. Or am I wrong?

Edited for grammar.

let me follow up your question with another:
Why do you care? you actively took down any video you could of the gameplay featuring the soundtrack (which you do not legally own) you then tried to sell the soundtrack (that you don't legally own) for upwards of $1000, and actively tried to encourage people to boycott the game.
The game is not up. and when it does come back up, it will not feature your work.

consider this a hollow victory, as you still do not own the legal right to the soundtrack.
Next time, READ the contract before agreeing to it.

I'm asking the question because no one is telling us why it's currently offline. Everyone is being left to make assumptions about whatever secret thing is happening behind the scenes.

that video is doing a great job of avoiding your "absolutely legal" DMCA takedowns
Why's that Alex?

If you wanna try to distract people from the real issues, So can I.
Explain how you can't get that very obviously pre-update version of SM: DSP DMCA'd?
And none of this, youtube is slow nonsense.

\** edited to fix grammatical errors, because that's what will be targeted to "invalidate" my statements.
