1401 : how to convince the king that Robert took his own life?

I mean, I am free from the accusation but unable to convince the king that Robert took his own life. I use the guide (with "missing his wife dearly" plot point) and I tried 5 times and not once the king believed he did suicide. Please help on this one ^^

I must've tried this method a half-dozen times, and it never comes out as being a suicide, always an unsolved mystery. Very frustrating.

Try doing this then:

#You only need to ask about the governor to others

1.Talk to Brother simon when you arrive - 'All I know is that I wrote him a letter'
'I wrote about the spread of heresy in scotland' - then finish the conversation

2. Pick up the Monkshood next to the entrance and go inside

3.Talk to the servant girl - 'No, we are Christians, aren't you?'
'Calm down - I believe you.'
'His wife's death hit him hard' - finish conversation

4.Talk to convent mother - 'I travelled here from Beauly Priory'
'I don't get along withh Prior Thomas'
'Nightmares, you say?' - finish conversation

5.Talk to sir John - 'I'm more interested in the House of Ashton'
'What's Past is past'
'He's become more mellow, recently then?' - finish conversation

6.Talk to Governor - 'Speaking of family, I haven't met your wife yet'
'You must miss her a great deal'.

7. Then take the Lock of hair from the table on the right in the Daughters room

8. Dinner - say nothing for first option
'Nice to hear a man speaking sense'
'Certainly, I believe in the power of witchcraft'
'Witches must be destroyed'
'Absolutely, we must tamp out this heresy'

9. Mix up powder with the mortar in the kitchen

10. Plant the lock of hair in the governor's room

11. Put the poison powder in the silver goblet where brother simon and the convent mother are praying.

12. Tell the Sheriff - 'Perhaps you should've heard of me'
