Anyone can give me pointers on Arcade Sticks for PC

Thinking of buying an Arcade fighting stick and was looking around and majority is compatible with consoles. Does anyone know where you can get some quality arcade sticks for pc ? my budget is around 150$-160$

One more question, many of those consoles is tagged like sf x tekken, soul calibur etc. Do they still work for other games ? are there any downsides of getting one arcade stick themed for other games ?

xbox sticks dont work on pc automatically,IMO the best stick is the Eightarc Fusion.I got mine for 140 during christmas,Idk if the sale is still on.For tag games ,all arcade stick work fine.its just that sometimes the tag arcade sticks are gonna have the buttons in some kind of rainbow arc,Which I dont like.also the eightarc fusion is pc,xbox and ps3 compatible.awesome if you have a bunch of friends who play this

The only disadavantage with some of those is that, you'll have to remap the buttons in game or open up the stick and rewire it. It's very very easy to rewire the buttons. The street fighter x tekken sticks and I believe the Tekken Tag stick are the correct button layouts for Street fighter out of the box.

What stick for the 360 doesn't work on pc? All 360 sticks use Xinput so they show up as a 360 controller in game.

@Zwingz - If you have that much money to throw down on a stick, man, I CANNOT reccommend a Qanba/EightArc stick enough. I have a PS3 Madcatz TE and a Qanba Q4RAF... the latter being better in almost every single way. The Q4RAF is ALREADY dual-modded, meaning that you can use it on 360/PC & PS3 right out of the box. Also, if you decide to go out to your local gatherings (if any) or tournaments, you'll NEVER have to ask to borrow a stick again... that always sucks losing a tournament match and feeling let down by the controller instead of yourself.

what are you guys talking about? the ps3 version is as compatible to pc as the xbox version is oO why do people extra promote the xbox version? I for example only have access to a ps3 with SFIV and my PC, so of course I bought the ps3 version and it works just fine...I heard about some players having compatibility issues with their usb chipset, but that's something you will need to test out and the same problem should occur for the xbox version.

The reason most people would reccomend an xbox stick over a ps3 is, it is much much easier to dual mod. You don't have to set up the xbox stick in game unlike the ps3 ones but thats just a slight inconvenience. What does it for me actually is, you can't skip the intro with ps3 sticks. Not so bad but when you are playing Street Fighter on the couch you have to lift up your foot and hit enter 5 times with your toes...Kills me so much work lol

the thing with dualmodding a stick might be true and a good reason to prefer the xbox version, but the rest of what you said isn't true. I didn't have to set up the ps3 version of my stick when I first played with it and I'm also able to skip the intro without any problems ^^
