It's just to add more elephants to the africa stage.
its a bunch of crappy outfits to rub salt into the wounds which showcases capcom's priority of getting paid dlc out before essential fixes

So they spent time developing outfits instead of making sure that the pc port worked properly. Hence my point, their priorities are $$$ and screw the consumer

Pretty sure the art team doesn't work on the netcode.

Also the PC port was done by a third party developer I believe.

What does that have to do with anything? They attribute a budget to specific areas. Their budget was 100% crap outfits, 0% pc coding and testing. Also, those outfits need to be implemented into the game, that requires testers, programmers etc.

Like I said, their priorities, crap dlc outfits for easy $$$ and zero time spent testing the pc version.

capcom don't give 2 craps for pc gamers, fact.

also,

if capcom cared about pc gamers, we wouldn't have to wait longer than console gamers. The reality is capcom think they can shoehorn lazy, untested ports on the pc community and hope nobody will notice or complain, but they screwed up royally with this one.

Capcom always make skins for SF so they would of allocated the same budget to the art team as normal who more than likely did all the costumes during the begining of Ultra production way way before development on Steam Works implementation was started. Which is also the reason why we got Ultra later because they had to recode matchmaking for Steamworks and they didn't have to do that on consoles.

Do you know what that patch was about? It's not in the annoucnements or the news panel, and I don't see jack for ANSWERS when searching.

At least try to be helpful next time, instead of just quoting things you've seen said, ya dingus.

That's just the costume content.

Rest assured though that the patch to address the network issue is currently being worked on. And even better news is that we'll be hosting an opt-in beta program to test the patch in open water before we make it the default update.

I don't have an ETA yet since they're still working on a fix, but the team understands speed is of the utmost essence. I'll put up a sticky post once I have more details, but it'll be similar to how we conducted RE4's beta program.
