Can anyone confirm?
I want GFWL back.
Also, latency bars are incredibly inconsistent now. You see a green bar, join a game, and it's orange or red afterwards. Still buggy, just in a different way.
Being able to see recent played opponents is cool too.
(I suspect that the issue here is that either A) the inputs aren't being read the same way, B) the inputs weren't copied/transferred right, or C) that move properties have changed so that the same inputs are resulting in a different match being played out)
Can see recently played opponents but cant message them is not very useful also.
I was able to play only one game decently with a green bar (not perfectly fluid, but acceptable) with a player from the same country (France), and even then there was 5 seconds of freezee / heavy lag.
My other 3 matches (green connection that turned out to be yellow in the lobby) were terrible, with many freezes / lag, unstable connectivity. I've also tried to join games for a long time, many many attempts, but all connections were orange or red, or whenever I tried to connect, I was rejected. Many times, I thought I would have a green bar and when in the 1v1 lobby, it was orange instead. Yellow connection is not playable, it was playable in GFWL.
Overall, my online experience is terrible, and is much less a problem on my PS3. I will hold buying USFIV until the network code is significantly better. I hope Capcom won't give up on the Steam release, because that's the future of the game, not the old gen consoles.
