What? Anything you get for that price will probably just be Cardboard, i.e. a gimmick with no practical purpose. Not even the $100 Samsung GearVR has support for SteamVR, and Oculus doesn't work for this because it requires Vive motion controllers and advanced tracking.

The cheapest you can get is a used one of amazon for 500-600$ a unused one is 800$ you will never find one for 20$

Is the OP suggesting you can play with Google Cardboard? The English is really broken.

Regardless, the game REQUIRES room scale and motion tracking to play. There is only support for the Vive right now. Strapping a monitor to your face isn't going to do anything.

can I play without VR?

i believe there is one program that lets you play many games in vr, i im pretty sure there is one for cardboard but it would be a horriable exprience and would not feel like true pc vr like the experience you would get with a vive.

Trinus does stereoscopic 3D and mouse/joystick emulation, RiftCat is proper VR. It's no Vive, but using OpenTrack with a webcam goes a long way.

Well,if you are going that way I would suggest NOLO VR. If you already have Google Cardboard, then with Riftcat + NOLO VR you can play VR games in room scale 360. When ceiling mounted the room scale is pretty good... but it does have blind spots since it only has one sensor.

This is me playing with NOLO VR:

I am using Oculus Rift now though, due to the summer sale.

As it is now, a Rift is so cheap its probably best to just get a Rift rather than trying to make some homemade VR system where you use a Kinect, Playstation Move, NOLO VR or other solutions to try to make room-scale or front-facing VR work with a Google Cardboard setup or something similar. Maybe the Oculus Go.

It should be possible to use the upcoming Oculus Quest with RiftCat, when they begin to support the Oculus Quest, but it will still not be as good as VR done with the Rift or Vive... and its likely to pretty much cost as much as just buying a Rift.
