why dont you just cycle the camera views,..?

That was present in the boxed PC version too from years back. just cycle cameras and you'll be fine.

What did you expect ?
You don't have to suicide. Just cycle through the camera angle bro. it's annoying but I always played in the cabview anyway.

Here's a protip: Start from as close as you can view. Then after the camera thing takes place after you trust, change the angle once and it should reset. Do it one more time if it does it and then cycle through them. This way you don't have to cycle every single time you trust just change views once.

Set the game to have a single CPU core affinity. issue fixed. there's also a patched exe floating around I've seen.
I didn't buy the game. Like I said in the other discussion there was a free version similar to that of the COG version. And that was how I managed it. I had bought this game to see if it was different and it's the same so I got refunded.

or just run it on a single core of your cpu. thats a known fix due to bad code in the game. it calculates the camera position when boosting using some code that gets mucked up on multicore/multithread, set cpu affinity to core 0 only, done. alot of other gameplay issues like the tie fighters can be fixed by similar steps, disable vsync then use rivatuner to vsync it instead.

Anyone want to make a steam guide with all these fixes? Would make it easier for future new users.

I tried this. The steam version of the game does not allow alt+tabing out to set the affinity. Is there any programs that set the affinity at launch?

As TheWax said, with being unable to alt-tab I'm not sure how to set the core affinity.
