modding in 2022

so after i installed the mods and got it up an running in offline mode, i left the game and try to reconnect my ps4 controller, but as i try to reload the game. it said my data was corrupted or something. is there anything i did wrong?

Did you try using the save editor at any point after the conton vote update?

iv done everything off a tutorial video from sloplays, was i suppose to use it? i just got started modding so i did not need to copy and paste any files

so apparently there are some mods that i put in the xv2ins and it tells me in all caps ' PLEASE STOP PACKING X2M_SKILL.INI INTO THE SKILLS DIRECTORY, THATS INTERNAL FILE OF THE INSTSALLER. INSTALLATION WILL CONTINUE, BUT THERE MAY BE PROBLEMS IN REINTALL /UNINSTALL' so does this mean i need something to prevent my game from getting corrupted so i wont have to redo everything?

The patcher and installer for version 1.18 released today I believe.

my last thing about the modding stuff is how do i get the modded super souls and awoken skills to work, the super souls that i install dont show up and the awoken skill i install somehow make my game go into an infinite loading screen. plz help

The game recently updated, so the patcher and mod installer are outdated.
Yesterday they were updated, you can download them now.

I mean, you did install mods before, i'm not sure what's difficult to grasp.

By installing the newest patcher and installer versions.
It is not that hard.

If you are using lazybones new transformations, that mod is not working and needs to be updated. It causes said problems

i was not using any old mods/xv2ins and patcher i had started fresh with the new ones, all im wanting to know is how i can save my custom ss and use it how i made it, cause somehow it dosnt do what i want it to do or it just somehow overwritted itself(i know how to install everything on dbx2 excecpt my custom ss plz help me)

You just need to download the patcher and the installer.

The SSeditor has been updated as well, you need to download the new version.
