So female buu just changes to normal Kid Buu

Who cares if it's canon or not? They have the female variant, why not give that one it's onl similar Kid Buu transformation? lol People will just accept anything.

The female buus are already designed after Kid Buu, so it seems kinda weak to make them transform into a reskin of Kid Buu. They could at least give the transformed female some buubs.

It's lore friendly, making a kid buu with boobs or something would be changing lore, since female majins were created by fat majins and fat majins came from kid buu

Who cares about the lore. Literally nothing from Xenoverse is canon, so why not adding one more thing? I'm sure we can all agree that having a simple re-colored Kid Buu is just lame. At least they could've made him still wear the clothes your character had prior the transformation.

Anyway, I'm glad that Majins get at least something.

There are no female buus. They are genderless. The only reason Buu is no longer the only Majin is because he found porn magazines, which led to him creating a copy of himself sculpted to be like the women in the magazines. As all Buu characters are still just an altered copy of Majin Buu, and Kid/Pure Buu is the true form of Buu, all Buu characters become Kid/Pure Buu.

For those saying this isn't canon- The foundation for Xenoverse as well as the Buu race is Dragon Ball Online, and Toriyma himself had almost complete control over the story and world design of that game. Even if it's not technically canon, it's still more Toriyama than GT is.

Personally it just feels like they could do more with pure form, youtubers have pointed out that even small changes like keeping your characters eyes the same or keeping the head noodles u chose for said character, those small details would add variety to a transformation that would otherwise basically be a skin color change of Kid Buu, even when people constantly blab about buu being genderless the whole point is that the Kid buu form doesnt appear to reflect your characters previous incarnation at all, lol

That's not neccessarily the point that the OP made, but either way I DO agree with every single point you made, but that the genders don't change anything is still more or less correct, due to them going back to pure form...but yeah, they could have at least kept the eyes and the "head noodles"...

I'm just disappointed the females don't go fat. That would've made a nice dichotomy between the Majin sexes; Fat males turn skinny and gain agility and strike power, females turn fat and gain tankiness and ki power, or something along those lines.

A lot of things in this game are lazy AF. You're paying 50 dollars for a roster update and some gameplay tweeks. It's Madden NFL the DBZ Edition. Which isn't shocking since the previous game came out only last year. The new transformations are slapped together and lazy, the new characters could have been a dlc, the only selling point this game has for me is the tweeked combat system and I'm not shelling 50 bucks for that I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work for my money.
